We haven’t heard much from Li-Ning since they unveiled the Way of Wade 3, but we’ve been seeing them pop up more and more online.
This is the most detailed look we’ve seen yet as these images showcase the details within the design. Everything reminds me a bit of the Way of Wade 1, in terms of style and function. But the traction still concerns me a bit since they decided to go with partial herringbone vs full herringbone. For all I know it could end up working out great, but Li-Ning’s traction record with the WOW traction hasn’t been the best so I can’t help but be a little pessimistic about it.

From the pictures I’m not too concerned with the traction. Even though it’s not full herringbone it seems the other pattern is spaced out enough where it won’t collect dust and will cover lateral movements. Hopefully it’s a pliable rubber they use. As for the style of the shoe itself, I dig it.
Every now and again, I go to hibasketballshoes just to see what’s out and they have released a bunch of lower tier team models from the WOW line. There just hasn’t been another signature release yet. I’m looking forward to these though.
I’m a HUGE fan of the 2’s and 2.5’s but I’m not really feeling these. They’re OK. It looks like the midsole will be more flexible, the tongue looks softer, and the eyelets seem to be more durable. So that’s good. Unless there’s a huge improvement in cushion tech I’m probably going to pass though.

i dunno, these just seem like a step backwards after the 2, which for me is pretty much the best looking pair of basketball shoes in the last few years…-performance wise they might be better, though, the 2 still feels stiff to me after numerous wears…i LOVE the 1 though
I’m liking the silhouette, but is it just me or did the leather quality go down? That toebox leather looks like a better version of the crap Jordan brand spews out on their retros.
I’m hoping they have improvements for the cushion. Otherwise, it loses out to a lot of current models on the market that are easier to obtain.
