While the world was in awe of LeBron James unboxing the LeBron 16 ‘Harlem’s Fashion Row’ on his Instagram story, we noticed the Zoom LeBron 3 ‘CTK’ Quickstrike he was wearing.
Expected to see a release in the very near future, the Zoom LeBron 3 ‘CTK’ (Christ the King) will be returning in its maroon/gold/white colorway to honor Christ the King High School in Queens. Once a PE made exclusively for players at the school (and select friends and family) in 2006, the shoe is now a Quickstrike release — that means it will be very limited and likely expensive (as we saw with the $175 Air Zoom Generation Quickstrike releases).
As LeBron approaches his sixteenth NBA season, some of his sneakers are now seeing retro releases that should please King James’ loyal fans. LeBron won his first All-Star MVP in the Zoom LeBron 3 back in 2006 and gave the world a first taste of his greatness for years to come.
Though no official release info has been made available yet, expect the sneakers to hit the shelves soon. Stay tuned to WearTesters as we continue to update this story.
