LeBron James has officially passed Michael Jordan on the NBA all-time scoring list.
While playing against the Denver Nuggets, LeBron James brought out a very special makeup of his Nike LeBron 16 that are a nod to one of the all-time greatest players to ever play the game.
Donning the Lakers purple and gold, the Nike LeBron 16 Player Exclusive borrows the concept of the Air Jordan 3 elephant print on the toe and heel area with a slight twist. LeBron also inked his family’s names on one of his sneakers, while writing “thank you MJ” on the other. Classy move indeed.
LeBron only needed 12 more points to surpass MJ on the all-time scoring list entering last nights game; that would place him firmly at the 3rd spot with only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, and Kobe Bryant in his way.
Do you think LeBron is going to top the all time scoring list when his career is all said and done? Let us know in the comment section below.
Fingers crossed the shoes make its way to the LeBron Watch release calendar as well. These would make for a solid pickup if they ever were to hit retail.
