Now trailing 0-2 in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals against the Celtics, LeBron and the Cavaliers are in need of some luck to dig them out of this hole.
Rocking the green and gold, LeBron broke out the Nike LeBron 15 ‘SVSM’ for Game 2 of the ECF. The sneaker pays homage to LeBron’s high school, St. Vincent–St. Mary, and a special version of very first signature sneaker, the Air Zoom Generation ‘SVSM’ (that shoe will be back later this month).
LeBron’s version of the sneaker blends the upper with green and white to mimic the AZG, and it’s different from the Nike LeBron 15 ‘SVSM’ PEs gifted to the athletes at St. Vincent–St. Mary; the high school’s PEs don an all-green upper for away games and an all-white upper as the home edition.
This upcoming Air Zoom Generation isn’t the only shoe to celebrate the Akron, Ohio, high school. Earlier this month, the LeBron Soldier 12 ‘SVSM’ launched at Eastbay.com for $130.
