During last night’s Cavaliers vs Pistons game LeBron James unveiled a PE of the Nike LeBron 15 with a more traditional Swoosh placement that left many with questions. This morning we have answers.
Nike began its “LeBron Watch” program with last night’s Nike LeBron 15 ‘Waffle Trainer’ PE. The program will offer LeBron’s fifteenth signature shoe in select builds, inspired by some of Nike’s classics, to customers.
Like Foot Locker did with Kyrie’s PEs, Nike will make these new super-limited LeBron 15 PEs available to Nike members as soon as LeBron steps on court in them. Thus, be on the lookout for more PEs to debut as a part of the LeBron Watch program.
“When I was a kid, the athletes and the shoes represented in this series inspired me to chase my dream of one day becoming a professional athlete,” said LeBron James in a statement. “It’s important to me to share these stories and inspiration with my fans. I want them to be a part of every step of my journey, so I’m excited we’re making these shoes available to them.”
LeBron remembers the times he saw iconic Nike silhouettes on TV in colorways he never thought he’d have a chance to get his hands on. It looks like he wants to give others the chance he never had as a young man in Akron, Ohio.
