From October 4 to October 8, New York hosted Comic Con, one of the world’s largest gatherings of nerds, comic geeks, artists, fandoms, and businesses. At the event, someone commissioned world-renowned Korean artist Kim Jung Gi to customize the all-white Yeezy Boost 350 V2.
While most Comic Con visitors stick to the show floor and head to the exclusive panels, many artistically-minded fans head to the Artists Alley where they can meet some of the world’s best working artists.
Sunday, Kim Jung Gi unveiled what may be one of the best customs ever done on a Yeezy. Of course, Gi’s art style may not be for everyone, but the insane amount of detail he was able to scrawl onto the knit upper of this Yeezy is incredible. The box, midsoles, and outsoles weren’t safe either so this must have costed a happy fan a pretty penny.
Check out the photos and videos below and let us know if you’d rock a custom like this.
