  1. Great news on the cushioning, and yes you said it right, Kurim is a rubber-company that do almost all the rubber on sneakers.

  2. I wonder why thegymratreview was so negative about these shoes while it seems nightwing is loving it.

    1. If I followed the video right, all NW did at the moment was try them on. Review is still weeks away.

I think the biggest issue is that there are just so many options at this price point already, not to mention clearance yesteryear items. I’d be curious to what this does better than the Lillard 2 and SF4 on discount.

      1. They are comparable to the jaqucard sf4 but differ a lot to the lilliard 2! The lilliard 2 has a better cushion setup imo because of the bounce being full length where the ultra.fly only has the zoom in the forefoot. The jordan ultra.fly is higher cut on the ankle and definitely lighter but I am still surprised at how good the lilliard 2 is designed to where it feels lighter than it is! I think its(lilliard 2) listed at weighing about 15oz for a mens size 9 which is heavy compared to most guards shoes. That is deceiving though because it really plays like a lighter shoe while having more cushion than most of the lighter offerings out there. Nightwing doesn’t put much stock in this weight of a shoe bc he knows if its made right, it will play right and weight want be an issue if that makes sense. I didn’t agree with him when I first heard him say it and reading it in his reviews bc I was always picky about the weight of my basketball shoes hence why I would order from eastbay, they actually listed the weight for most the hoops shoes although they’ve been slacking lately. Then after playing in the static lilliard 2s I changed my opinion on what nw said, bc they were heavier than my Jordan’s on the scale but on the court they might as well been 3/4 of the weight as the Jordan’s because they played a smoothly! Whoa, way more than ive ever typed for a comment but not to leave out that these ultra.flys are actually a good performance shoe imo and are definitely a guards shoes! The cushion isn’t bad at all its just not the highlight of the shoe, my favorite thing about these is they have a really great sole that doesn’t make the arch of your foot adjust to it! My arches in my feet can get knotted up but I didn’t have any of that with the ultra.fly and I didn’t change the insole or anything!
