Jordan Trunner LX Retro | Detailed Look and Review

With runners being all the craze in today’s sneaker world, the Jordan Trunner LX was ahead of its time when originally released.

The Retro release of the Trunner LX stays true to the original version sans the metal clip that caused the OG to be recalled when initially released.

Older fans will remember when Roy Jones Jr. endorsed the Trunner line and younger fans should appreciate the comfort — if they choose to give the shoe a chance and try them on before spouting off about how “ugly” they are. Ugly says the one wearing Yeezy’s. Ha!

Enjoy our detailed look and review on the Jordan Trunner LX and let us know how you feel about them. Was the design ahead of its time or have they not aged well over the years?

  1. That shoe was in my dreams something like 17 years ago.
The Jordan Trunner LX. Somebody even bought a pair for me in the US and brought it to Germany. Unfortunately it was the black-yellow version and it was not the right size…..Bummer!
Luckily I could return it as Nike/Jordan had to recall them bacause of that metal clip. So I gave it back at the Niketown Berlin and bought with that money a pair of ACG Air Deschütz and a pair of ACG Shorts. That was a pretty good deal as I used both heavily.

  2. I Just bought two pair of these. The black blue and white and the all black with gum bottoms. love the look but its a chore to put them on. I got them a half size larger and i stillhave a problem getting them on. may be part of the reason i got them
    for $52.00

  3. I worked at Footaction in the early 2ks and these were the rage. One dude from Japan came in and bought us out. I love them, just un ds’d a pair of Trunner BHMs. Also y’all can’t say these are ugly and be rocking foam runners…
