Jordan Brand has been playing with the Trunner line this year and the latest new build is this Jordan Trunner LX High NRG.
Now a street/lifestyle shoe rather than a performance trainer, the Trunner LX High NRG has been updated with a high cut zippered ankle collar, much like what the Air Presto Mid Utility Premium uses. The shoe also sandwiches foam between synthetic fabrics, so it should be comfortable, and the midfoot straps should help with fit.
According to Eastbay, the Trunner LX sits atop a Phylon midsole with a forefoot Zoom Air unit and a heel Air unit (but we’ll wait on FastPass to chop the sneaker and confirm that).
The Jordan Trunner LX High NRG ‘Black Out’ launches tomorrow in Japan for ¥16,200 (approx. $145 USD). It should find its way Stateside in the coming weeks so stay tuned to Nike SNKRS.
Eastbay has tons of Jordan Trunners stocked, you can check them out here.
