The Jordan Team Elite 2 Low is Back

Jordan Brand has brought back another Team model from the early 2000s: the Jordan Team Elite 2 Low.

The Jordan Team Elite 2 was once released as a midtop performance model that featured double-stacked Zoom Air in the heel (unfortunately, I can’t remember if there was anything in the forefoot). Then, it quickly transitioned into the popular Team Elite 2 Low.

The original Jordan Team Elite was the very first shoe from Jordan Brand to be featured on the NIKEiD customization platform. The overall look and shape of this latest shoe seems pretty accurate, but the materials don’t appear to be quite as luxurious as they once were.

Depending on the retail price, the Jordan Team Elite 2 Low could make for a nice outdoor hoop shoe with decent cushion. The men’s sizes are expected to release shortly while the shoe is currently available in kids sizes at Eastbay.com.

Did you once own the Jordan Team Elite 2 Low? If so, could you see yourself owning another pair?

  1. These look nice. I’ve always liked ball shoes that could kind of pass for a casual shoe, and this is a great example of that. But knowing this to be a Jordan retro, most likely the cushion will be downgraded, and if thats the case there will be very little reason to pick these up. Might as well get a real casual shoe, since it’ll have pretty much the same amount of cushion.

  2. Always wanted a pair, they did have forefoot zoom. Doubt the retros will. Still praying JB will release the Jumpman J’Madness…

  3. Eastbay shows it as having full length encapsulated air. I thought that might be the situation, as I remembered them saying zoom, not air on the heel.

  4. Had them when they first came out…white leather in front with black suede and blue jumpman, and these are the only Jordan’s that I ever owned….and I got new shoes as soon as the first signs of falling apart started showing…unfortunately all the J’s I see look beat down with very few wears, and seem to fall apart regularly!! I will stick with my airmax!!
