Way back in July, WearTesters reported that Jordan Brand had a pack of Air Jordan 7 Low builds coming. Now, the company has officially unveiled all three.
Like the leaks suggested, the pack will include the Air Jordan 7 Low NRG ‘Bordeaux’, a lowcut build of the fan-favorite Air Jordan 7, the Air Jordan 7 Low NRG ‘Taxi’, and the Air Jordan 7 Low NRG ‘Concord’.
The Air Jordan 7 originally released in 1992 but it was only years later, in 2008, that fans got a look at the shoe in a lowcut build. According to Nike, rumors spread of an official release, but the shoe never hit retail shelves and disappeared (the sneaker business had taken a dip around 2007-08). Now, ten years after the first samples were teased, the Air Jordan 7 Low is making its first public debut.
The Air Jordan 7 Low features the same full-length Air unit underfoot. It is one of the most comfortable Air Jordans (1-9) to hoop in; you can learn more by checking out Nightwing2303’s Air Jordan 7 Performance Review.
All three Air Jordan 7 Low NRG colorways will release on September 27 for $140 on Nike SNKRS. The shoe has not appeared on release calendars of Stateside retailers like Foot Locker and Finish Line so this may be a limited Nike SNKRS-only drop.
