Iron Sharpens Iron – Under Armour Curry Two Preview and First Thoughts – Duke4005

Completely unexpected but totally wanted, I received the Curry Two Iron Forges Iron colorway and special media box.

First off, big thanks to the people at Under Armour Basketball – I will leave names out; don’t need people blowing them up for freebies. After I opened the box and read the cards I learned there are only 180 of these packs made. Pretty cool. First thoughts on the shoe – cushioning feels between Curry One and Gemini. Speedform is not as thin as runners but WAY thinner than the Anafoam. Fit is a little shorter but not enough to size up. Performance review coming ASAP. Stay tuned for release of this colorway October 24.

  1. Definitely excited! the model when I originally saw them I was disappointed but after various color ways and reviews I stumbled accross I’m looking forward to these even more than the curry 1s!

  2. man, i really like the professional colorway, don’t know if i’m going to hold off till the lows drop, or buy both the mids and the lows, the curry ones are my go-to shoes now that the traction on my clutchfit drive lows have gone, under armour is on top of the game, for real

  3. Props on the recognition, man.

Been fortunate to get a look at these personally (They released earlier in the Philippines) and yeah, I did the same thing to the heel counter as you did haha. I did not expect them to be that soft. But hey, who knows, it could turn out like the heelcounters on the CFD which were great anyways.

    Keep them coming, Mr. Influencer.

  4. Just nitpicking here, and I know this is of little consequence (if at all), but the title should read “Iron Sharpens Iron.” At any rate, looking forward to the performance review!
