Scotland’s Hanon has linked with France’s Le Coq Sportif for a stunning collaboration on the R800 trainer dubbed ‘The Good Agreement’.
Dressed in stunning blue and gold hues, Hanon has outfitted this Le Coq Sportif R800 with premium suede leathers from historic English tannery Charles F Stead and waxed fabric from Scotland’s own Halley Stevensons. Leather is used on both the premium insoles and sockliners to compliment the hairy suedes while the Hanon flame logo hits the tongue of the left shoe.
As many sneaker enthusiasts know, this isn’t the first time Hanon has worked with Le Coq Sportif to create something truly special. In 2015, the brands collaborated on the LCS R1000 ‘French Jersey’; that shoe also featured stunning materials — laminated calfskin footbeds and pigskin nubuck uppers — and told an interesting story.
While little is known about the latest Hanon x Le Coq Sportif project, expect it to release in the coming days. We’ll update you all when we know more.
UPDATE 5/21/18: According to leaker @de4th2f0amz, the Hanon x Le Coq Sportif R800 will release on May 26 at select retailers.
