Get Your First Look at the Upcoming ANTA KT 1

The Warriors are currently hosting the Los Angeles Lakers as they try to obtain their 16th straight win – which would be the new best win streak to start a season in NBA history.

While on-court, Klay Thompson is rocking his 1st official signature shoe; the ANTA KT 1. As noted in our previous post – here – the KT 1 was described to us as being ‘really comfortable’ and something that was made for real hoopers to enjoy. By the looks of it, the traction seems like it’ll be awesome. No frills or gimmicky storytelling, just plain old herringbone to get the job done right. Their upper is definitely a synthetic weld with plenty of mesh for ventilation. ANTA typically uses a GEL system for cushion, but we cannot confirm whether the KT 1 has GEL cushion or not. I’d assume they don’t since it isn’t visible – ANTA likes to show their tech when possible – but you never know. The design on the side of the shoe reminds me of a basketball hoop’s net. Not sure that’s what it actually is… it’s just what I see when I look at it.

My favorite part – aside from the traction – is Thompson’s logo. The “K” and “T” are all one piece while the two white lines make up his uniform number – 11 – all while flowing perfectly into the “K” portion of the logo. Oh, and they’re Dubs colors so you know it’s an automatic buy from me.

These are said to be releasing mid December so stay tuned for more coverage on the ANTA KT 1 along with an upcoming performance review.

  1. These actually don’t look too bad. I wish there could be better pictures. I’ve seen some of his away’s and it’s just the same but with black. This one is a sure cop for me since I’m a Warriors fan. Excited to try these on
