The ‘Lucky 13’ edition of the Way of Wade 4 will likely be seen on-court and worn by D Wade this season.
While the line has had it’s fair share of ups and downs in terms of performance, the 4th iteration of the line seems promising. This pair sports a different type of mesh along the upper than the ‘Liberty’, but the tooling on each pair will remain the same.
The Li-Ning Way of Wade 4 ‘Lucky 13’ will release on October 28 for $190 and be available at WayofWade.com, Edition Boutique in Miami, and Fanatics.com.

They look really cool but at a price of $190…ouch.
I agree. I really love the new look and design of the WoW 4, but that price point is a killer to me. I just don’t know if it can perform so great that it justifies a $40 price increase from the previous models in the line. The good news is there always seems to be a price drop once the initial release passes in a couple of months so I will have to keep my eyes out.
Where I live, Li-Ning’s shoes, especially Wade’s signature sneakers, (almost) always sit on shelves. With the steep price of the WoW4, I can see these sitting on shelves eventually, which should not really be surprising anymore given other cheaper and BETTER options from a performance standpoint. By the time I’d be able to cop a pair for cheap so that I can experience firsthand how these perform on-court, I bet there’s already the WoW5 lol.
Ah man, these are more than KD’s. We thought KD’s were overpriced nowadays lol. These should be 140-150 tops.
These are cool, I especially like the gold lightning bolts indicating years in which ‘the flash’ has won a championship. It´s great when a shoe has details like that.
The price increase. Is to keep the brand exclusive. Wade doesn’t want his shoes in foot locker collecting dust.
