To coincide with the 90th anniversary of Salvin Shoes, FILA and the shop have created an extremely limited Original Fitness in the colors of the Hartford Whalers.
Limited to just 90 pairs, this $90 FILA Original Fitness honors both a Hartford landmark, Salvin Shoes, and a professional ice hockey team formerly based in Hartford, Connecticut.
With a white base, the Original Fitness has been dressed in solalite blue and fern green, the team colors of the Hartford Whalers. Unique details appear all over the shoe; the left sockliner is decorated with “90 Years” while the right reads “Salvins.” The heels get fern green embroidery and the shoe sits atop gum bottoms.
Additionally, a custom shoe box showcasing a map of Hartford was created for this release.
The Salvin Shoes x FILA Original Fitness launches on November 3 exclusively at Salvin Shoes in Hartford, CT.
