The BNP Paribas Open, also known as the Indian Wells Masters, is an annual tennis tournament held in Indian Wells, California. FILA, the official apparel and footwear sponsor of the tournament (which is underway at this very moment) will showcase two new collaborative models with the BNP Paribas Open.
The first silhouette is the FILA x BNP Paribas Open Original Tennis 2.0 Knit. The classic shoe has been updated with a knitted upper, internal neoprene bootie, and designed in white with green accents. The FILA logos are accented in red, white, and navy. This pair perfectly matches the custom uniforms for the BNP Paribas Open as both athletes and tournament officials will wear the shoe on the court.
Releasing alongside the Original Tennis 2.0 Knit is a special edition of the FILA Drifter slide. The Drifter will feature a striking yellow strap made of felt (tennis ball material) with a BNP Paribas Open logo in the center and a FILA logo on the side of the strap. The base of the silhouette is done up in a familiar shade of navy.
Both silhouettes will be available exclusively at the FILA retail shop on site at the BNP Paribas Open, just like FILA’s project with the Open last year. Both pairs also come in custom boxes that feature both BNP Paribas Open and FILA logos.
The FILA x BNP Paribas Open Original Tennis 2.0 Knit will retail for $80 while the FILA x BNP Paribas Open Drifter will retail at $30.
