The Nike Kyrie Low is the newest silhouette in Kyrie Irving’s signature line. It comes with more cushioning and a low cut build for summer, and has just appeared in a colorful new build.
The Nike Kyrie Low utilizes both heel and forefoot Zoom Air units that are bottom-loaded instead of the heel-only top-loaded Zoom Air unit used in the Kyrie 4 (WearTester Duke4005 says the shoe starts off real firm so make sure to break it in). Another change comes at the traction, which features a concentric blade pattern derived from the Kobe 10.
“Kyrie wanted his Low to have everything his signature game shoes have had, but retooled with an all-day play component,” said designer Benjamin Nethongkome, who created the Kyrie 4, in a statement.
The Kyrie Low keeps many of the features fans love from the Kyrie 4 including the curved sole unit for quick cuts, a midfoot strap, and traction that wraps up onto the midsole.
This Kyrie Low ‘Amarillio/Black’ will release at nike.com and select retailers on August 15 for $115. It has got some Kill Bill vibes to it and features a solid rubber outsole.
