The Ewing Image debuted in 1993 and saw a retro in 2016. Now, the shoe is back in a brand new look for Ewing Athletics’ April Retro Collection.
Originally worn by Patrick Ewing in 1994 during the New York Knicks’ run to the Finals, where the team faced Hakeem Olajuwon and his Houston Rockets, Ewing also rocked the Image in the 1994 and 1995 All-Star Games. That All-Star Game shoe got a retro in 2016 in Knicks colors, but now the Ewing Image dons a new look.
This latest Image flaunts a bright white leather and gum bottoms for the perfect springtime look. The Ewing Image uses a full neoprene inner sock system with a Lycra midfoot panel. Cushioning is supplied by the EVA midsole.
The Ewing Image ‘White/Gum’ releases on April 19. It will release alongside an entirely reflective Ewing 33 Hi and an Ewing Rogue in Burgundy/Navy/Gum.
