Enjoy a Small Sampling of Upcoming Under Armour Curry 2.5 Colorways

Stephen Curry has started wearing the Under Armour Curry 2.5 on-court, and today we get a pretty good look at what the shoe’s features are – along with a small sampling of upcoming colorways.

The shoe features a mesh upper with a rubberized PU coating – much like the Kobe 7. Neoprene makes up the interior, ankle and medial side of the shoe, most of which is the lacing enclosure. This mixture of materials should make for a pretty comfortable and form-fitting fit. Those that wear a brace might really enjoy the new upper and it’s easy opening and lacing system.

Tooling hasn’t changed at all so if you enjoyed the Curry 2’s Charged cushion and the traction (which is beastly) then you’ll likely enjoy these a slight bit more as they’ll come equipped with a Micro G insole.

Check out some new images showcasing upcoming colorways, and just know that there are going to be many more colors coming.

  1. I think for a performance shoe, these look pretty nifty. I kind of worry about the one piece fold over effect around the tongue/lacing area. Depending on the shape of your foot I could see this being a great fit or some people having some dead space issues. This design is so far from the 2, I am surprised they are rolling it out as a 2.5 even though the tooling is the exact same.

      1. There’s other good performers around too though. I have to agree with Theberge43 and say these are a hard pass.

  2. I guess these actually are an option for guys like me who needs orthotics. I have never seen the Curry 2’s in person but from what I’ve understood they don’t come with insoles? Please correct me if I’m wrong.
