On the latest episode of George Kiel’s new show Open the Box he travels to PENSOLE Footwear Design Academy to catch up with E. Scott Morris. ESM is, in this writer’s humble opinion, one of best designers to ever do it, and he’s created some of my favorite sneakers ever.
One of the things that made Michael Vick’s sneaker line different from nearly anything that came before it, something made apparent in the video below, is how involved Vick was in the entire process. He came to the first meeting with sneakers in-hand to show what he liked and what he wanted.
