After teasing his upcoming shoe with Under Armour in August of 2016, Dwayne Johnson’s UA Project Rock Delta is finally here — with performance training apparel to match.
The UA Project Rock Delta is an exclusive version of the UA Delta Highlight trainer — designed by Yurri Mial (we spoke with him recently) — that utilizes a two-piece Charged Cushioning midsole, solid rubber outsole, molded heel cup, and a seamless breathable mesh upper.
Notable details on the UA Project Rock Delta version include the unique yellow and black colorway, the Brahma Bull graphics at the ankle collars and sockliners, and reflective upper. It retails for $140 and is available now.
When we first reported on the prototype of this shoe, it was aesthetically different — the upper had motivational slogans all over it, as did the tongues. You can see what the prototype looked like in the post below.
“I’ve been putting in the sweat for over a year to design and engineer the best in-class training gear with our partners at Under Armour; training in literally every single piece of our collaboration until it passes the test and I’m satisfied,” said Dwayne Johnson in a statement. “Our New Project Rock Collection will make you feel more ambitious, hungry, powerful and motivated to achieve your goals than ever before, and most importantly, have fun in the process.”
Also debuting today is the head-to-toe UA SuperVent Project Rock Training collection designed for performance. Both men and women will get Under Armour’s latest technology: CoolSwitch, a porcelain print that pulls heat away from the skin, ArmourVent mesh, and HeatGear fabric that wicks sweat.
The collection includes exclusive cut and sew styles for tees, tanks, shorts, leggings, and accessories that range from $35 to $90. You can check out the entire collection here.

The UA Highlight Delta is one I’ve been eyeing for a while
A lot of similarities to the Fortis in terms of the midsole. Have yet to try a pair on but would expect they’re pretty solid
Love the design and color scheme. Wonder if I can play bball in these?
Anyone can play ball in anything, but you’ll be better off in something half the price designed for ball — the KT2 for example
But then I’ll be a half-dope like KT instead of super dope like the RRRRRRock!
