Under Armour has launched Dwayne Johnson’s new ‘All Day Hustle’ collection so grab it while you can; last time the Rock released his Project Rock 1 sneaker it sold out instantly.
Yesterday, WearTesters took you all behind the design of the Project Rock 1, a sneaker designed to handle the incredibly active lifestyle of athlete, father, and actor Dwayne Johnson.
Built to keep up with a man that averages three blockbuster movies a year, inspires millions of athletes daily on social media, stars in his own hit TV show, and never misses a workout, the Project Rock 1 features a knit upper that delivers a sock-like feel. The intricately designed webbing gives the shoe the ideal degree of flexibility for lunges, box jumps, and push-ups, and the shoe is double stitched to be extra durable.
The Project Rock 1 gets cushioning via a full-length Micro G midsole so that the shoe is just as serious about cardio as it is about lifting and squating. “Dwayne was involved in the creation of this shoe from start to finish — wear testing each and every model until we created one that worked perfectly for his training needs,” said the shoe’s designer Lauren Jones in a statement.
The Dwayne Johnson x Under Armour Project Rock 1 is available now in two colorways at UA.com for $120 each alongside the entire ‘All Day Hustle’ apparel collection and a restock of the UA Sport Wireless Train Project Rock edition headphones. The shoes will also be available at Eastbay.com at 10 AM ET.
