Dwayne Johnson Debuts New Project Rock USDNA Collection, Partners with the USO
Headlining The Rock’s new Under Armour Project Rock collection, USDNA, are three Highlight Delta colorways ($140 each) and all kinds of Threadborne apparel.
It’s no coincidence the latest Project Rock collection has dropped the day before Military Appreciation Day and right before Veteran’s Day. The USDNA collection was designed to honor those that serve (or have served) in the U.S. military.
Johnson comes from a proud family of military members, and in March, the first Project Rock collection sold out in record time — the Highlight Delta from that collection was Under Armour’s fastest selling shoe of 2017. Thus, Dwayne Johnson and UA have partnered with the USO to provide strength, health, and wellness initiatives within the military community in 2018.
The USDNA collection was wear-tested exclusively by The Rock to ensure that it could handle his grueling workouts and training regimen. The collection features three new men’s-exclusive Rock Delta (Hightlight Delta 1, not 2) colorways, military-themed bags for transporting gear, and shorts, pants, graphic tanks, tees, and hoodies for men and women.
The apparel portion of the collection features garments that incorporate UA’s Threadborne knit material; the UA x Project Rock Threadborne Training Cap ($35) features an integrated Threadborne sweatband for breathability and fit, while the UA x Project Rock UA Threadborne Fleece Joggers ($80) and Sleeveless Hoodie ($70) use Threadborne construction to create garments that should dry quickly, wick away sweat, and remain breathable but warm.
The Under Armour x Project Rock USDNA collection is available now at UA.com.
