Details Emerge on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Nike Zoom Freak 1

Details on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Nike Zoom Freak 1 have emerged online.

Later in 2019, we’ll see Nike Basketball’s latest signature athlete debut his first sneaker — the Zoom Freak 1.

According to the image shared by US11, the shoe will feature a textile build with double stacked Zoom Air in the heel with a Zoom Air unit located in the forefoot.

The image shows what looks to be the Greek Freak’s new signature logo along with the outsole. Everything looks like it could be a very solid performance shoe while the tech specs alone have me intrigued. However, the shoes price is something I’m interested in.

With the more affordable offerings coming from the Kyrie and PG line, I’m curious to know where the Zoom Freak 1 will land in the grand scheme of things in terms of retail value. Will they be priced around the same price as the aforementioned models or will they be priced closer to Kevin Durant’s sneaker?

The other image seen in the embedded tweet below showcases some information on the rumored AlphaDunk — a possible replacement for the popular Hyperdunk series.

Feel free to speculate down below on the upcoming Nike Zoom Freak 1. Where do you feel the price will land and stay tuned for updates once they arrive.

  1. Oh how I’ve missed double stacked heel zoom. Hope these shoes perform. I would assume these would slot in around KD price range with tech. I don’t mind paying $150 for an excellent shoe.

  2. Looking forward to Giannis’s sig. Will be interesting to see if it will sell at a high price point since most players first sig are set at near budget model pricing. I’m ‘eh’ on the Hyperdunk/Alphadunk stuff. Sounds more like marketing and brand name changing than anything actually new or innovative going on with that line.
