Detailed Look at the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Low ‘Black’

Yesterday, we gave you all a first look at the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Low ‘Cement’. Today, we’ve got a look at a colorway of the Low that’s coming much sooner.

While many of the colorways released for Russell Westbrook’s first signature shoe have been loud — to match his often attention-grabbing aesthetic — the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Low ‘Black’ is the triple black look some fans have been waiting for.

The new build ditches the strap of the original — which caused rubbing for some — and slims down the huge heel panel. All told, the new build is relatively unchanged and all the specs that made the hightop a beast are still used on the Low: full-length Zoom Air cushioning, a fit that doesn’t quit, traction that bites (although it won’t last outdoors), and ultra-durable materials.

The Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Low ‘Black’ arrives at Eastbay.com on July 1 for $115 — $10 less than the original build. (Some Why Not Zer0.1 colorways are already on sale for $109 at Eastbay).

How does full-length Zoom Air for just over $100 sound? Will you be picking up this Low for the summer? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. Sold. I already enjoy playing in my mids but I’ve been looking for a solid rubber outsole option

  2. The heel counter is the same height as the high, which is a good thing I suppose. The strap was unnecessary…

  3. Is this really a low? Like the all black. Still haven’t played in a pair but waiting for discounts.

  4. Depending on how the fit goes, this might be my next beaters, if not the dmx 10s would be.

  5. The upper looks like it has 3M weaves into it, to give it some pop when light hits it. Kinda like the OG Bred 13’s.

  6. Really need to see a side-by-side against the originals to understand how much the heel has been reduced… looks suspiciously similar in height to me. Which would mean that pretty much all they’ve done is remove the strap (personally I quite like the overall look with the strap, but will feel better without, I suspect). Will gladly take the $$$ reduction though 😀

Very keen for the concrete colourway.
