Yesterday WearTesters got you all the details on the FILA x Nas x Ghostbusters collab footwear but today we have the official detailed images from FILA.

The footwear collection will feature three silhouettes Nas handpicked: the FX-100, T-1 Mid, and Original Fitness. Here’s part of the FILA presser:

In anticipation of the nationwide release of Ghostbusters, one of the most highly anticipated movies of the summer, Sony Pictures Consumer Marketing is collaborating with Nas, the Hip-Hop icon, and entrepreneur, for Nas x Ghostbusters, a new Ghostbusters fashion collection.  Inspired by the classic film, Nas, one of the world’s biggest Ghostbusters fans, has curated the collection, with high-profile and upscale brands including HSTRY, New Era, Monster, Italia Independent Eyewear, Tokyobike, and FILA.

“There’s no bigger Ghostbusters fan than Nas – he grew up with the franchise – and, along with these iconic partners, they’ve done a great job interpreting the characters and movies into these amazing, fashion-forward products.  The collaboration was not only a natural fit between these brands, but an opportunity to add a modern, high-end twist to Ghostbusters,” said Mark Caplan, Senior Vice President, Global Consumer Products for Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Some details I didn’t notice from the photos that were online yesterday is the Nas ‘N’ branding at the heel of the hightop FILA FX-100 and the yellow and black tab on the tongue of the T-1 Mid. Both are great small details that set the shoes off.

The FILA x Ghostbusters collection will be on sale at Ron Herman in Los Angeles, Foot Locker in New York (West 34th Street), online and in-store at colette in Paris, hypebeast.com, and fila.com. The shoes are currently available for pre-order from colette.

Enjoy all the imagery below and let us know if you plan on copping anything from the FILA x Nas x Ghostbusters collection.

  1. Take the FX-100 and remove the Fila branding from the tongue. Also remove one of either the embossed branding on the side or the raised branding on the cupsole and you got a winner. The overbranding Fila puts on it’s retro’s are tacky. May have been cool in the 90’s but it’s tacky as hell today.

    1. I’d the Swoosh puts WAY too much branding on its sneakers. There are recent LBJ LOWS that have 7+ branding logos. I think fila’s branding sticks out because it isn’t something we’re totally accustomed to seeing, and the logo isn’t that appealing.

  2. Not a fan of Fila’s overkill branding either. They nailed the colors, though. Even if there wasn’t a particular theme/inspiration to them, they took a rather tired-out silhouettes (well, imo) and made them look fresh again for a second.

    1. Agreed. FILA can do dope shit and most of its silhouettes are timeless, although the original fitness does not hit my feet anymore way too uncomfortable. The FILA 96 however has some of the best cushion today period.

  3. So what brand shoe are these? JK. Damn. Fila doesn’t mess around with blatant garish branding huh. I guess they’re proud of being slightly more popular than LA Gear. Materials look on point but Fila and Nas haven’t been relevant in a LONG time. This is the sort of collab that the new BS “Ghostbusters” deserves. I feel dirty even saying that name. Just call it “Tammie 2 : Bustin’ Ghosts and having derp moments”
