A Detailed Look at the adidas Crazy BYW X (Boost You Wear)

Feet You Wear is back in the Crazy BYW X, sort of.

Feet You Wear, from what I remember feeling from the adidas Top Ten 2000 Retro, felt much different than what is being labeled Boost You Wear on the adidas Crazy BYW X.

Not to say that this rendition is bad, it just feels like the typical Boost setup we’ve seen in other shoes — except for the heel portion of the shoe. That area feels like it’s from a different shoe altogether — more details on that within the performance review once we’re done testing these things out.

In the meantime, here’s a detailed look at what adidas calls the Crazy BYW X. Let us know if this type of shoe is something you’d be interested in playing in — $200 is a bit steep after all.

  1. Oh man, I was hoping for a more cushioned version of the Top Ten 2000 or Crazy 8s while retaining the natural flexibility and awesome court feel. It certainly looks the part and I actually like decoupled midsoles (the early Roses were the best). Looking forward to the review though

  2. Curious how fit changes with wear by the time the performance review drops. Casual BYW was surely half size down for me.

  3. Hi nightwing! no matter what m just gonna wait for your reviews, cuz’ all of them are just spot on, been buying Bkicks based on your review, so my decision to cop BYW will be based purely on your study, Thanks!
