Detailed Images of the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 ‘2-Way’

Russell Westbrook finally has a signature shoe and it seems like people are eagerly awaiting the release of the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1.

Featuring full-length Zoom Air and retailing for $125, the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 might be the most anticipated on-court model from Jordan Brand of the year.

Possibly drawing inspiration from the past, the design of the Zer0.1 looks like it was pulled straight from the year 2000. A mesh internal bootie with synthetic overlays heat-welded onto the build is modern, but the giant heel counter comprised of foam takes us back to the Air Jordan 15.

We’ve been told that the shoe is hard to get on, which we figured, but it’s also super comfortable once on. Not that anyone needed to be any more excited than they already might be, but that news made me a little more giddy.

On a scale of 1-10, how excited are you to try out Russell Westbrook’s Why Not Zer0.1? Let us know.

  1. A 9 until I know how they fit. I’m trying to get the Mirror Image colorway, but I don’t know which size to purchase.

  2. they really remind me of westbrook for some reason. nothing to do with him getting a sig. cant seem to put a finger on it

  3. Intriguing. Looking forward to the performance review. I really don’t like straps, so I’d consider cutting the ankle strap if the shoes perform well without them.

  4. These are so fire to me, not sure if it’s the color blocking or just the fact they’re Russ’ but so long as the fit/lockdown is good I see myself grabbing multiples of these. Traction, cushion and aesthetics are so on point.

  5. 10… Really looking forward to checking how the full zoom is on these. And will probably never be able to get over the $125 tag. 1-2-5. Full. Zoom. Insane

  6. I’m very excited. I haven’t bought a new hoop shoe since the Adidas CE 2017 but I’m ready to move on back to zoom. I’d have to say my anticipation is a 9 out of 10. They look stable and incredibly durable, I want to put some real hours in on these.

  7. Traction looks like a winner to me from the released images. And watching Russ play in them, he didn’t seem to be slipping out or compensating. They seem to be nubs like the cilia traction on the Rose 1/1.5s. 125 for full length zoom AND good traction…SOLD!!!

I’m just waiting for someone to get on youtube and remove that shroud so we can see what they might hoop like without it like the Kobe XI ALT or the Harden Vol. 1 without the toe cap.

  8. Yeah Russ looks good playing in them. I haven’t watched every game since he debuted them, but it seems he hasn’t switched out of them yet. Which to me says something, because he strikes me as the type of player to keep it real and shelve the shook if they’re not up to par… I gotta have ’em!
