Detailed Look at the Nike Air Penny Pack
The upcoming Nike Air Penny pack is coming and today we get a detailed look at both shoes.
A ‘new’ Air Foamposite One pays homage to Penny needing to draw with a Sharpie on his Foams, since the all-Royal upper didn’t meet uniform requirements. You could do this yourself if you have an extra pair of Royal Foams lying around your house. These are actually a little different than past Foam models; the translucent outsole is milky instead of clear and the toe no longer has the stitching lines, which throws off the entire look. I know its something small but that tiny detail mysteriously vanishing from the shoe just makes them look like bad knockoff Foamposites.
Now the Penny 6 is the shoe I want from the pack. Mesh and MegaFuse upper, heel 180 Max Zoom, and Posite lateral support wings. Yeah, these just look awesome. There is no forefoot cushion, but I guess that’s what we get with Penny models nowadays.
Still no word on the official release date, but we’ll update you as soon as we know.
