The BX’s own Desus and Mero are back with Complex — this time, as guests on Sneaker Shopping.
While no longer on the air with VICELAND and awaiting the debut of their Showtime series, the Bronx comedy duo Desus and Mero have hit Sneaker Shopping to promo their Madison Square Garden live show on November 11 during the New York Comedy Festival.
In the episode, Desus and Mero critique all kinds of sneakers, from late-model Air Jordan signatures to Foamposites and Yeezys. And, fans of the Desus & Mero show can learn some interesting factoids.
“Never repeated a pair of sneakers on Desus & Mero and never repeated a t-shirt on Desus vs. Mero,” Desus tells Joe LaPuma. “Every show we set these little parameters and people catch on to them — I might’ve worn a pair of Timbs two times in a row but not the same pair of Timbs.” You can keep up with every sneaker the duo wears by following @DesusBloodyShoe.
