Darius Bazley, known as New Balance’s intern, has debuts his New Balance OMN1S PE on-court.
Darius Bazley is one of many NBA hopefuls that has made the decision to bypass the league’s requirement to be one year removed from High School prior to being eligible to play in a unique way. Rather than opting to play overseas of the the G League, Darius Bazley chose to play nowhere while he worked as an intern for New Balance in an odd endorsement deal that will pay him $1 million.
The pair seen below is Bazley’s first PE featured on New Balance Hoops’ first performance basketball shoe in years, the OMN1S. Featuring a bright neon green and yellow highlights — the pair is sure to make Bazley stand out.
There has been no word on if we’ll see this PE release to the public, but if Bazley ends up being picked up by an NBA team then it would increase the chance of seeing them available at some point.
Stay tuned for updates regarding the New Balance OMN1S including a performance review in the coming weeks.
