The Under Armour Curry 4 ‘More Buckets’ will release in both digital form and in real life during a sponsored NBA 2K18 tournament tomorrow at the company’s Baltimore headquarters.
The 3-on-3 tournament will feature some of the Twitch’s biggest personalities including:
- Team 1 — GoldGlove, LagTVMaximusBlack, Timmac
- Team 2 — Jericho, Troydan, Giantwaffle
- Team 3 — Bashlol, LosPollosTV, VernNotice
The event, hosted by Scott Cole and Zhi, will be live streamed on December 8 from 4-8 PM EST via the NBA’s Twitch channel. 2K players can also purchase the Curry 4 ‘More Buckets’ using virtual currency (VC) during the tournament, while retail for the shoe will be $130 in the non-digital world.
Similar to the NBA all star MVP voting system, audience members will have a chance to vote for their tournament MVP using #playerID. The voted MVP will receive a signed pair of the Curry 4 ‘More Buckets’ to give away to a member of their own community.
Using the Twitch chat, viewers can also engage for a chance to win limited Under Armour and Twitch co-branded merchandise and swag using #UASweeps. Up to 18 lucky winners will be awarded co-branded t-shirts with their own Twitch ID printed on the back.
