The Curren$y x Reebok Question Release Date Has Been Moved Up

Currensy Reebok question release date

Last week we gave you all an exclusive look behind the design of the Curren$y Reebok Question with its designer Chris Hill. Now, Reebok has officially unveiled the shoe — including pricing information — and moved up its release date.

As previously reported, the Reebok Classic Question x Curren$y is inspired by the artist’s passions — basketball, lowriders, and his Pilot Talk albums — and will first release at a launch party hosted by New Orleans boutique Sneaker Politics on May 3.

However, the shoe will now hit Reebok.com tomorrow, May 4, for $170. Additional retailers will stock the shoe on May 11.

In a first for Reebok, this Question Mid gets a unique accent at the heels. “The heel jewel is also molded chrome with a jet impression, and this is the first time we’ve ever done this on the Question,” Chris Hill told WearTesters. The shoe also receives a large stash pocket within the tongue.

The shoe will come in stunning custom packaging that perfectly mirrors Currensy’s ’64 Impala. “When you open the box you see graphics representing the hydraulics in the trunk,” said Chris Hill. “The idea is you pop the trunk to get your kicks.”
