We may just gotten our first look at the next in the James Harden signature line, the Harden Vol. 2.
Thanks to Twitter user @XixiRossiiiii, we have images of what appears to be the adidas Harden Vol. 2 in a multiple shades of blue, with an additional grey colorway above it.
Borrowing design cues from the adidas Harden Vol. 1, we see Boost making its return with a familiar traction pattern on a modified outsole that wraps way up onto the heel. This shoe also draws from another familiar adidas signature shoe, the Dame 3, with its side panels that offer complete customization to the lacing system.
In addition, the shoe uses a one-piece bootie while the material at the toe and forefoot appears to be a knit. We also have a glimpse at Harden’s signature logo on the tongue.
No release date or official details have been confirmed by adidas, but this shoe is rumored to be dropping in spring of 2018. As soon as we have more information we will certainly let you know.
What do you think of this possible Harden Vol. 2? Let us know in the comment section below or on social media with the #WearTesters.
Personally, I think this is a dope looking sneaker. Although it is an adidas model, it gives me the same feeling the Nike PG1 did when it was first unveiled.

Looks better than the vol. 1, nice.
These are kind of hideous, but if they made a beastly performer with no regard for the looks, then I’m all for that. In any case, these will definitely have the best back-of-the-heel traction in history, for those who like to do the splits Van-Damme style.
My thoughts exactly.. These would give hoopers a +20 on axe-kicks.
Seems like addidas basketball is AGAIN running out of ideas..
These look busy.
True, the lacing system on the side panel takes points away aesthetically IMO but outside of that I love how these look.
Dear god I hope not. These are Hideous, better stock on the vol. 1.
I like the aesthetics of the 1s better so far. Looking for to more pics and some tech information for 2s. I will definitely pick up a pair or two in the right colorway if these are really good performers like the 1s. I hope adidas gives us a miadidas option this year…
Well said. Wait and see. Remember everybody was saying the volume ones were hideous and ugly until the final product came out and they all went for it. This could be the same thing, this one looks very ugly looks very stupid but when the final product is released and in different color ways the opinion of it may change. so I like your approach wait and see and not be like the hundreds of idiots who always hate on stuff and once enough people say they like it all of a sudden they jump on the bandwagon of liking it …they make me sick
That would be bad decision making, you can’t make the Harden 2, a Dame 3.5, what’s up with sneaker-companies, a signature = recognizable.
I actually really dig how these look.
They look like its going to take like a hour to put on
wow this should perform well with that thick and chunky boost
look like these mbt shoes..

Looks like the pg1 harden1 and dame 3 had a weird child
This is hideous, and I don’t think I’m gonna change my mind on that. Way too much going on and that heel thing is just WTF
They look pretty cool in my opinion, but I don’t seem to get the heel wrap for the outsole. Does it enhance the performance of the shoe??
To prevent splits, Harden was once known to only stick a foot out in the passing lanes instead of playing tight defense lol.
Seriously though, most likely it’s to cage boost for stability in that area.
This looks like a scrapped Lillard. Where the hell is the Vol 1 DNA? Other than the traction pattern, I cannot see it.
That boost seems very high to the ground
The desing elements show that this is a Harden model but the colours are a bit off.
fugly…way off from v1
Seems like a thicker slab of boost. Just bought my CE lows KL cos of its super plush. I wonder what kind of experience this set up will give us.
adidas took a bigger stepback than Harden does
