In a refreshing change of pace from the last episode featuring DJ Khaled, Complex goes inside Victor Cruz’s sneaker closet… and it’s insane.
I’m not a Football fan so I don’t know much about Cruz other than he’s into kicks and has his own signature model dropping November 20th, but he seems like a chill guys and understands that hard work is rewarded. Speaking of rewards… dude’s closet is pretty crazy. I enjoyed Cruz’s vocabulary and explanations as to why he enjoys certain pairs, and why he wouldn’t wear others.
If you’re a fan of seeing what celebrities are into, more specifically sneakers, then this episode you might enjoy a bit.
Mad respect to Cruz. Is he really a sneaker head when 1. It’s all Nike shoes and 2. He’s a sponsored athlete by Nike that gets a majority of his kicks for free?
That’s the question isn’t it? Show me a closet of a dude who bought all of his shoes instead of someone with a “connect”. Those are more interesting because you learn what he sacrificed to build his collection.

It may be true that he gets free shoes, but coming off the DJ Khaled video, this was very enjoyable. Cruz seems passionate, and you can make a case that Khaled is passionate too, but Vic is also knowledgeable and relatively humble. Respect.
