Complex recently sat down and compiled a list of the most expensive sneakers sold at Flight Club… but they didn’t stop there. They went ahead and compiled a list of the top ten most expensive sneakers sold at Flight Club for each year since their grand opening in 2005. It’s pretty interesting to see some of the same kicks on the list from year to year, especially seeing their prices fluctuate. You’ll see what I mean once you take a peak at everything – here.
Once you’re done, feel free to come back and discuss how ridiculous it is drop thousands on kicks in the comment section.
15k for a pair of Jordan’s? Well when you have that much money to spend on kicks so be it. If it’s important for your collection and you have the money for them then why not I suppose. But if you have to save up or take a loan out to buy this expensive of shoes then please pass. 15k is a good looking car or a down payment on a house! I love my shoes I really do but not to shell out this type of cash. I didn’t buy the Jordan 29’s for full retail much less these types of shoes. Thank you Weartesters for always posting sales and discounts going on!!!!
Man, this site looks too much like sole Collector now.
The line between presenting useful information and monetizing every last square inch of screen space has been well crossed.
I mean I guess it could be worse. You could be like kicks genius and do flat out commercials for the companies that you are supposed to be critiquing. Conflict of interest……. FIRE.
Jb, Nike, adidas etc decided to turn the Internet’s reviewers pro on the same day so they could influence their followings and soften criticism.
Getting a pile of free shit sure beats coming out of pocket, for that nobody could blame you.
It just sucks to see a useful honest resource like this place was, become like sole Collector.
Umm…I respectfully disagree about most of your comment. But to each his own.
I don’t see how its becoming like sole collector. This website provides both sneaker information AND performance reviews from multiple people. Sole collector has release dates and sneaker news, which wear testers had since the beginning so stop spewing bull. Sole collector also has a marketplace which weartesters doesn’t, so also stop spewing bull. And its not even a commercialized sort of thing. Plus, read that this says its from another article, “Complex” so it’s just a cool little excerpt on the ridonkulous prices of some Jordans.
I second the thank you to you Weartesters folks for pointing out sales/discounts. Like KPEREA54, I probably would have passed on the XX9s at full retail as well.
Now, I must preface my statements by saying I try my best to not judge people, including those that choose to spend their money whatever way they want to. I just shake my head side-to-side when I hear of certain things, and then I accept it for what it is.
Everyone has their weakness, something they’re willing to throw wads of cash at, if they got it. These shoes are all obviously, ridiculously priced, but the sellers get away with it because the shoe might hold some sentimental/historic/addictive meaning to the person. It’s like sold paintings.
With that said, I must admit I wouldn’t spend even $20 on a lot of the kicks on this list. Haha.
I remember visiting nightwing waaaaaay back when he did some reviews in his kitchen. On the counter. Or at least that’s what it looked like. Stop complaining and make your own site. Maybe, MAYBE you’ll get half as many people cine visit you add much as NW does. Back on topic, I wouldn’t weekend a fine on most of those shoes and the ones I would buy I own and bought at or less than retail. Chumps paying thousand fur some Jordan’s…I wouldn’t pay a grand for a pair of kicks if it was lined in gold and had a hose attached that ran up your leg and blew you as you moved…hope that doesn’t violate comment terms…sorry about that. It just slipped out..(that’s what she said)
Shock and Awe, those numbers are NUTS! One of the fun parts about Kicks is getting them as Cheap as Possible so you can get more new KICKS! I say this way too much but remember that Having a bank account full of Money NEVER goes out of style, being mindful is a must when you have a kick addiction. the term HYPE Beast should be followed up with BROKE Beast (not always – but I see a lot of kids with $300 kicks counting pennies at Taco Bell). Now blowing 6k on some leather plastic and foam is ridiculous but more power to them but IF I win the Lotto I guess I would do some stupid crap that, IT would be no different than blowing 10k in Vegas for the weekend and nothing to show for it but a nasty hang over, a gut full of Buffet grub, a couple more dead brain cells and a long as drive Home through the desert.
