If you’re into collaborative releases, then you’ll be happy to know that CLOT and Jordan Brand are teaming up to release an Air Jordan 13 Low.
If you know Jordan Brand, you know that they like to take chances on collaborations, especially when it comes to well-known brands and retailers, regardless if they’re local or overseas. International brand and retailer CLOT has joined forces with Jordan Brand to pay tribute to its creative director and co-founder, Edison Chen.
The Air Jordan 13 was a defining shoe in Edison’s growth, along with being his go-to shoe in high school. The shoe has unique color blocking along with the material etching to pay homage to ancient Chinese history. This goes back to Chen’s visit to Lintong county, Shaanxi province, where the Terracotta Warriors statues have remained for over 2000 years. The CLOT x Air Jordan 13 Low pays dividends with the usage of the color blocking with Sepia Stone, Terra Blush and Canteen colors complimenting each other along with the metallic gold symbols on the tongue, heel and the sole to finish off the design.
The CLOT x Air Jordan XIII Low will be available exclusively at Innersect Shanghai, China, on December 8, followed by a global release on December 13 at Juice Stores.
What do you think of the collaboration? Are you liking the reference to the Terracotta Warriors? Are you a fan of the Air Jordan 13 Low? Do you plan on trying to cop a pair? Let us know your thoughts down below.
