The Jordan Super.Fly 2017 has released overseas in a Black/Infrared colorway.
While Stateside hoopers are still awaiting the release of the Jordan Super.Fly 2017 in order to try out the new React cushioning from Nike, overseas hoopers are able to grab pairs now.
This Black/Infrared colorway is a good look that pays homage to Jordan Brand’s past. The colorway itself is a nod to the AJ6, but the materials used on this pair also pay homage to a time when materials on performance footwear included leathers and nubucks.
Something to note is that this colorway still uses the one-piece build but the rear panel is nubuck. This may cause for a tighter fit at first and bring about a more lengthy break-in process. If you do not like to break-in your kicks then opting for a pair that uses more modern materials — such as these — may be your best option.
If you’re like us and are eagerly awaiting the Super.Fly 2017’s release then keep your eyes peeled as retailers like Eastbay.com will be carrying the shoe beginning August 3 for $140. Those of you residing overseas, try not to rub it in that you get the shoes an entire month before us.
