An Up Close On-Foot View of the UA Curry 3

ua-curry-3-on-foot-1

Today, an up close on-foot photo of the Under Armour Curry 3 was posted in a new bright orange/pink colorway. This photo gives us a great view into the way that the shoe looks on-foot and I have to say it is really growing on me.

This colorway is rocking a full neon orange/pink upper with darker fuse wrapping around the entire toe. The tongue is dark black, as are the laces which flaunt speckles of the neon orange. The midsole looks to be a speckled light gray and the outsole is transparent.

With the announcement of the UA Curry 3 inching closer and closer we seem to see new pictures of the shoe almost every day — many showcasing the shoe on Curry’s feet during his Asia tour. The design on these guys is definitely interesting and the more I see it the more I love it.

  1. I think it’d look better if they inverted the medial and lateral side panels, i.e. have the embossed details on the lateral/oustide of the shoes.

And medial eyelets with lateral lace loops looks weird. All eyelets would have have been dope.

    1. i used to think the same but pic after pic they’ve rly started growing on me, if they’re a really good performer ill definetly cop

  2. looks better with pants on imo. I’m not big on that giant SC logo on the back. That and the still-big “I can do all things” makes it look like some kiddy shoe imo.

  3. I want to ask about Charged cushioning. I haven’t really seen anyone here at Weartesters rate it very highly at all on any Basketball shoe that it’s on.

Also, is the Basketball version much different from the version they use on their runners? Usually on UA’s runners such as the Geminis it seems to get good reviews, so I am stumped when I hear most people here say that it’s average at best on UA’s Basketball shoes. Unless I’ve missed it, I’ve never heard anyone at Weartesters say that it’s great on any of the Basketball shoes that have been reviewed.
