This video isn’t new but today was my first time seeing it so I figured I’d share. Take a look as Complex’s Russ Bengtson sits down with Nike designer Tinker Hatfield to talk about the latest Air Jordan – the Air Jordan XX9.
Jordan One Take 5: No, It’s Not A Skate Shoe
The Jordan One Take 5 looks like a skate shoe, but it is, in fact, Russell Westbrook's basketball shoe for 2024, however, is it a solid budget option?
Thanks for posting NW! Me and my son are still rocking the XX8/XX8 SE with much love! I’m putting coins in a jar in preparation to buy 2 pairs of XX9s; one for him and myself.
When I was growing up Jordan’s were a must have. Decades later it still holds true! These are a must cop regardless of your review! The XX9 has the tech, yes! But the style, that’s a whole other thing. These shoes were made for ballin’!
Glad you both enjoy them & that you can enjoy them together.
Jordan Brand is going back to basics releasing Chicago Bulls colorways first. Those breds will be the breadwinners at the debut; thank goodness for the solid outsole.
I don’t think the flightplate on the 29s will be better than the 28s. I don’t know iif they’ve finished designing the flightplate but the 29s have a bunch of pointy weird ridges in the midfoot so it looks like it will feel weird, I hope your review addresses this, hopefully they make it smooth like the pebax plate in the 28s.
