After the rough week Under Armour has had since reporting disappointing Q3 results, the brand is losing two of its heavy hitters in sports fashion: Ben Pruess and Tim Coppens.
We spoke with Ben Pruess, formerly of adidas (where he was the global vice president for seven years), when Under Armour Sportswear (UAS) first launched at NYFW in 2016. Now, he will be leaving Under Armour, along with UAS’ lead designer Tim Coppens. The UAS Spring 2018 will be the last collection designed by Coppens.
Under Armour plans to continue the UAS line — it just released two handsome sneakers — and will do so with the help of rapper and style icon A$AP Rocky. UAS will also bring in new creatives to collaborate with.
You can read up on the A$AP Rocky-UAS partnership here.
