Under Armour Scorpio – First Impressions

Here is a first impressions on the cleat inspired running model from Under Armour, the Scorpio.

Again, this is just a first impression and things may change in the performance review, but overall the Under Armour Scorpio looks strong. Full-length MicroG foam and a spring plate seem like a match made in heaven, while an extremely breathable upper ensures ventilation and comfort. We also want to give a huge shout out to the good people over at Finish Line for sending these over to WearTesters.com to performance review. Enjoy the video and if you still have any question on the Under Armour Scorpio, let us know in the comments section below and we will do our best to answer any of your concerns.

  1. No doubt about it- they look strange. I can see a 13 yr old and below wearing it (just like the reebok zig)…but anyone above, getting to high school will have a serious issue. Honestly, where are you wearing these—to the gym. They don’t look stable enough for serious sport, style points are a big low for street wear, and well serious runners- NO. UA needs to work on concepts that are useful.

  2. Just got these in blue with gold chrome. The implementation of cleat like feel with micro g at the end of each cleat with the micro G insole is very comfortable. Gives each step bounce effect. The gold chrome adds a trendy flair to the shoe design. The first plastic cleat look makes it boring to be honest. The feel reminds me of the old nike shox feel but more bounce. I get a lot of sneakerheads and non-sneaker heads attention with the shoe. I run about 5 km. a day. This will probably make nike return their shox line.

    1. Bamnasty can you please tell me where you were able to find those under armour shoes i have been looking all over the place for that exact pair

        1. do you know why they stopped? and is there any possible way i can get them, also if so, where would you recommend i look?
