Another Look at the Upcoming Curry 5 ‘Grey/Gum’

In early April we spotted the Curry 5 in an upcoming grey/gum colorway. Now, more images have surfaced so we’ve got a better look at what to expect.

The initial images of this colorway didn’t really do the shoe justice, and neither do these. However, this latest set of images does showcase several details unseen before — namely, the blue and yellow accents at the “tongue” branding and inner lining. Underfoot, big blue squares — inspired by the “squaring the circle” theme of this latest Curry signature — break up the gum bottoms.

Thus far, Curry has been spotted wearing the Curry 5 ‘Pi Day’ and a striking white colorway with blue accents during war-ups.

While the Curry 5 wasn’t the performance beast we’d hoped it would be, the shoe certainly works for off-court use. You can learn more about it’s ability on-court by checking out Nightwing2303’s Under Armour Curry 5 Performance Review.

There is no official word yet on when to expect this upcoming Curry 5 ‘Grey/Gum’ but stay tuned because we’ll update you.

What do you think of this colorway? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Should we be concerned that the curry 5 has been chewing up people’s feet and Steph will most likely wear it for the playoffs when he returns? Wouldnt want him to be out for a playoff game (or games) due to blistered feet.

    1. Probably not. NBA players feet/ankles are taped up so much that he probably doesn’t feel it chewing on the sock/tape.
