We got our first preview of the upcoming Air Jordan 13 Retro in Olive yesterday and today we see what the shoe is made of.
Suede is usually featured solely on the heel and midsole panels on the Air Jordan 13, but the ‘Olive’ edition seems to be the first to feature a suede upper.
The ‘Black Cat’ release was the first to utilize nubuck throughout the shoe so it’s a safe bet that Jordan Brand will be playing around with materials and placement on more upcoming Retro models come 2018.
If the suede featured on the upcoming Air Jordan 13 ‘Olive’ is anything like the suede used on the ‘Maroon’ Air Jordan 12 then it’ll be a good look because material quality was better than most of the year’s previous releases.
The ‘Olive’ Air Jordan 13 is rumored to release in January 2018 but nothing official has been released by Jordan Brand at this time.
