An official look at the upcoming Nike Air Max 720 has arrived.
One of my most anticipated new models releasing in 2019, the Nike Air Max 720, has been spotted.
While some may have grown tired of the Air bubble, I’ve always been infatuated with them and that really hasn’t changed at all. Despite being surrounded by shoes on a daily basis, the visible Air unit still does it for me — even after all these years.
The Air Max 720 features Nike’s largest volume Air unit to date and its been implemented from heel to toe — trumping this year’s Air Max 270. Official tech specs are unknown, other than the Air unit, but it looks similar to the Air Max 270 which features an Injected Phylon midsole. Hopefully, that means the interior section of the 720 Air Max unit is Injected Phylon as well.
Materials look to be micro-molded mesh while the design looks to pay homage to the Air Max 97 and 98.
Official release dates are unknown, but these official images mean the release is coming sooner than later. Hopefully, we’ll see the Air Max 720 available as early as January but we’ll likely see them no later than All-Star 2019.
Let us know where the Air Max 720 ranks amongst your most anticipated new releases of 2019 below and stay tuned for updates on its release and pricing.
