Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder are headed to round 2 of the NBA Playoffs. Westbrook racked up a triple double in tonights game 7 win while wearing this PE pair of Air Jordan XX9’s. The XX9 just doesn’t attract me look-wise. It feels like a team model more than Air Jordan shoes; kinda like the AJ2012.
Hopefully the performance would be even better than XX8
Elephant print on flyweave doesn’t look too great, I’ll agree. Some people love it though.
But there’s definitely gonna be some dope colorways coming up, and the “one” is gonna pop up that’s gonna sell like mad.
For me, I don’t care if they look like crocs, if they can perform the best, you better believe I’m gonna shell out the 150 or more to buy them. In any case, I like the design.
Not all XX9’s will look like this. Tinker said that they can customize the shoe anyway they want with the machine they use.
OKC/NYK colors just don’t do Jordans justice in my opinion. The xx8s are still riding high until proven otherwise.

As always, I’m into the “different”. Looking forward to actually seeing a pair in person. I like the CW, great for summer ball. Every pic of the XX9 gives the impression of energy in the shoes because of the weaving process.
I’m putting my coins aside for two pairs. Me and my son are ballin’ in these! But for right now, the XX8 is just king!
Maybe jordan should’ve given one of these to a player on the bobcats and they may have won at least one game…everything counts
I hope they release a white based colorway around the same time they release the other ones.
