Air Jordan VI (6) Retro ‘Olympic’ – Detailed Images

Air-Jordan-VI-(6)-Retro-'Olympic'-Detailed-Images-1

The Air Jordan VI Retro in the Olympic colorway will make their first appearance since 2000 on July 7th, 2012 at a retail price of $160.

The quality on this release is amazing. Leather is thick and plush (white leather) while the Midnight Navy leather isn’t as nice… it’s still better than what we had received a few years back.

  1. This is an excellent look, I’m not usually a fan of the 10’s and prior, but these look very tempting…mainly because of the quality…sad to say, that’s actually quite refreshing coming from JB as far as retro’s are concerned.

(As a side note NightWing, I’ve been noticing these pop-up ads from DynamicOxygen…while it doesn’t happen often, it’s a bit of a nuisance when it overtakes the entire page until you exit from it–this usually occurs right after the site opens, just a FYI…thanks!)

  2. Bro – you’ve got to be the hardest working man in the sneaker game with all your retro, performance and performance product reviews lol.

I just wanted to know, from a performance (cushioning specifically) standpoint, do you think these would perform similarly to the Carmine VI’s you reviewed a while back or have they tinkered (no pun intended) with the cushion setup?

  3. Do they run big in size? I usually wear a 10.5 in most sneakers but they are starting to fit a little too tight, should I get these in size 10.5 or 11 for a good fit?

  4. Hi Nightwing2303. I’m very curious as to whether these are true to size. I’m able to get my hands on a pair in either my size, or half a size up (if they run small). If you could let me know, I’d really appreciate it.

  5. i love the quality and the fit but the cushions is a real big problem for me..not a lot of cushion when you land.and sometimes hurt my injured knee.
