Reported as the Air Jordan 4 NRG ‘Raptors’ for several weeks, this upcoming Air Jordan 4 has lost all of its Drake or special make up connections.
Now known officially simply as the Air Jordan 4 ‘Black/Court Purple’, there is no story to go along with this release — it’s just a black and purple Air Jordan 4 with red accents. Unlike earlier versions of the shoe, the build that is releasing does not feature red signatures at the tongue or purple Jumpmen.
The upper, which is usually leather on the Air Jordan 4, has been upgraded to suede for, seemingly, $10 more than the usual $190 retail price. Of course, customers will get the usual heel and forefoot Air units for cushioning. For performance information check out Nightwing2303’s Air Jordan 4 Performance Review.
The Air Jordan 4 ‘Black/Court Purple’ releases on August 18 for $200 at Jordan retailers like Eastbay.com, Foot Locker, and Finish Line, as well as on Nike SNKRS.
