Air Jordan 11 Retro Low ‘Concord’ – Up Close & Personal

I seriously never thought I’d see the day when the Air Jordan 11 ‘Concord’ dropped in its Low top version.

In case you weren’t aware… I’m a huge low top guy. Never really been into high tops and mids were tolerable but lows were where it was at for me. I remember being glued to the TV during Chicago’s Championship parade – it was televised – and freaking out when I saw that he was wearing a low cut version of my then favorite shoe. Unfortunately, they never released. Hell… none of the low tops MJ used to play in were ever released. Many either don’t know or don’t believe, but MJ wore two shoes for nearly every game. One was the regular version that we all bought and one was a low top version, typically in the same exact colorway he was wearing so you’d never know the difference. While I doubt they’ll release other low tops that he once wore on-court, its nice that they’re at least releasing these.

Now the question is… on-court or off-court?

  1. Gotta take these straight to the court… Despite the many double takes I’ll probably get.

  2. I’ll drop kicking 2 years to make my way in the store for these, who am I kidding, it’ll go to a rigged raffle system.

    What a tease 🙁

  3. My Fiancé was going to get me these for my birthday but instead suprised me yesterday and bought me nikeid kobe 9 ems. I really wanted this shoe but now at least I don’t have to worry about lines, raffles or any other release problems!

  4. Where we differ. Lows are not for the court. Taked these to the overly played out streets….where you look like a clown. These have been ruined by over production and every moron wearing them. Everytime….I see them on court….it means the guy can’t pass, won’t pass and can’t play basketball worth a shit. I take these out to look at once a year and then put them back. The lows look amazing but, alas humans ruined the XI.

  5. You know I would say………. on court! I see a lot of people saying bad things about playing in these and I haven’t understood why. Will there be a performace review on these?? Please say yes so I can prove everyone wrong lol.

  6. On court for sure. I have no problem hooping in shoes that others consider “collectors items”, or strictly for off court. If they perform well, are comfortable, and the traction is on point I’ll hoop in them.

  7. 1996 NBA Finals Game 1 – Jordan switched form Bred XI Low’s to Bred XI’s. Think he also switched from the Bred IE XI Low’s to Bred XI’s against Orlando in Game 3. Can’t remember any other switches mid game.

  8. True to size? I’m considering going for them this Saturday; first come first serve and no raffle.
